The position
The Managing Director (MD) will have a leading role in shaping the fund strategy and its future organization. (S)he will be the driving force behind fundraising, bring in own network and generate leads. (S)he will materialize (existing) leads resulting in a USD 100 million fund close mid 2020. The MD will lead investment opportunities through various stages of the process, including sourcing, initial screening, business and financial due-diligence, legal structuring, board approvals, execution and closure. In the future, (s)he will be responsible for the portfolio management.
